Auto-post from WordPress to LinkedIn

Creating compelling blog content is just the beginning in today’s digital age. The real challenge lies in effectively distributing this content to reach a wider audience. This is where professional networks like LinkedIn play a crucial role. With over 700 million professionals, LinkedIn stands as a powerhouse for B2B marketing and professional branding. Sharing or auto-posting your WordPress blog posts on LinkedIn not only amplifies your content’s reach but also enhances its visibility amongst industry professionals, potential clients, and peers.

However, the constant need to manually update your LinkedIn with fresh blog content can be time-consuming and, sometimes, a tad overwhelming. This is where automation in social media management becomes a game-changer. Automating the process of posting from WordPress to LinkedIn streamlines your content strategy, ensuring consistent and timely updates without the need for daily manual intervention.

This not only saves valuable time but also allows for a more focused approach to crafting quality content and engaging with your audience. Automation regularly updates your professional network with your latest insights, keeping your profile active and your content at the forefront of your industry.

In the following sections, we will delve into how you can set up this automation, making your content marketing efforts more efficient and effective.

Maximizing Reach and Efficiency: Integrating WordPress with LinkedIn

In the realm of digital content marketing, the integration of your WordPress site with LinkedIn can serve as a pivotal strategy for expanding your reach and streamlining your efforts. This synergy between a leading content management system and a premier professional networking platform holds immense potential for bloggers, marketers, and business professionals alike. Let’s delve into how this integration can transform your content marketing initiatives.

Enhancing Visibility and Reach

LinkedIn, known for its vast network of professionals, offers a unique and targeted audience for your WordPress content. By integrating these two platforms, your blog posts can automatically reach a diverse yet focused group of professionals, industry leaders, and potential clients who are interested in your niche. This exposure is not just about numbers; it’s about connecting with an audience that is more likely to engage meaningfully with your content, be it through comments, shares, or direct inquiries.

Streamlining content distribution

One of the biggest challenges in content marketing is maintaining a consistent presence across various channels. Manual posting can be time-consuming and often leads to missed opportunities. By integrating WordPress with LinkedIn, you can automate this process and promptly share your latest posts with your LinkedIn network. This automation allows you to maintain a regular posting schedule, which is crucial for building a loyal following and enhancing your brand’s credibility on the platform.

Leveraging LinkedIn’s professional context

LinkedIn views content in a professional context, significantly amplifying its impact. People are likely to perceive your WordPress blog posts on LinkedIn as more authoritative and professional. This perception can enhance the reputation of your brand or personal profile, positioning you as a thought leader in your field. Moreover, LinkedIn’s algorithm tends to favor content that generates engagement, meaning your WordPress posts have a better chance of gaining visibility and sparking conversations within professional circles.

In the next sections, we will guide you through setting up this integration and making the most of this powerful combination.

How to Auto-Post from WordPress to LinkedIn

For auto-posting from a WordPress to a LinkedIn account, you have to simply go through the four simple steps. Just choose the right plugin, then activate and install it. Next, connect or integrate your LinkedIn account with this plugin.

And now you can automatically publish your latest or old content to your LinkedIn account. Here are the four simple steps you have to follow:

Choosing the Right Plugin or Tool

When considering tools for automating social media posting from WordPress, Bit Social emerges as a notable option, especially for LinkedIn integration. The WordPress plugin Bit Social streamlines the process of sharing content across various social media platforms, including LinkedIn.

Bit Social enables the automatic sharing of WordPress posts to LinkedIn, making the content distribution process efficient and timely. This plugin offers advanced scheduling capabilities, allowing you to set specific times for your posts to go live, aligning with the best engagement windows for your audience. With Bit Social, you can manage several LinkedIn accounts, making it suitable for individuals and businesses managing multiple profiles or pages.

Actively install the plugin.

Now it is time to activate and install the plugin, which is so simple for WordPress users. There are several ways to activate and install the WordPress plugin. From your WordPress dashboard, there is a plugin option. Click on it and search for your desired plugin by its name, and you will find it. Then activate it and install it. Another way is to purchase a plugin from the developer account, download the file of the plugin, upload this file to WordPress, and make it authorized for premium access.

Connect your LinkedIn account to this plugin.

Now you have to connect your LinkedIn account with the Bit Social plugin. After connecting it properly, you will be able to auto-post your content from WordPress to your LinkedIn social account. There is a fantastic scheduling feature in Bit Social. Without leveraging numerous employees to distribute your content among several LinkedIn accounts and even several social media accounts, you can automatically post using this plugin in no time. Here you will get fantastic features like an advanced calendar and time scheduler, direct sharing, a fantastic dashboard, logs, and so many more.

Automatically post from WordPress to LinkedIn.

After successfully connecting your LinkedIn account to this plugin, you are now ready to auto-publish your WordPress article to the LinkedIn account. Even you can distribute your article to different social media accounts.

However, it is so easy to auto-post from WordPress to LinkedIn using the Bit social WordPress plugin. Just go to WordPress dashboard > bit Social > Schedule > Settings > Post filter > Accounts and Template. That’s it. Follow the steps and let it happen.

Step 1: Go to the WordPress dashboard > Bit Social > Schedule > and click on the Create Schedule button.

Step 2: You can see there are 4 tabs. Go to the setting first. In the setting area, you can see there are four nice options. The options include name, start date and time, post interval, order posts by, and the final option, “set a sleep timer.” Just get a quick introduction to them so that it gets a bit easier for you while auto-publishing with the scheduling feature.

Name: Just put a name here before starting the auto-publishing operation, as you may start so many operations like this for different LinkedIn accounts. So you will be messed up.

Start date and time: This setting allows you to schedule when your first post should go live. You can choose the exact date and time for your post’s publication, which guarantees the optimal sharing of your content for audience engagement.

Post interval: It refers to how many minutes, hours, or days you want to post automatically. For example, you can post automatically every 1 hour, 1 minute, or 1 day.

Set a sleep timer: You can use the sleep timer to specify when to pause auto-posting. This could be during the night hours or specific times of the day when audience engagement is typically low. It helps in optimizing the posting schedule for times when your audience is most active.

Well, set all these things according to your wishes. Go to the next tabs.

Step 3: Now go to the Post Filter tab. Here, too, you can see some options. The first option is:

By the published time of the posts, which means users can set a custom date range for selecting posts. For example, the last 7 days or 15 days of your website, or whatever you want.

By post type: Here you can choose the media, post, or pages that you want to publish.

By the post category and tag: Here you can see all the categories of your website. When you set a specific category, it only drags those contents that are related to that category. For example, the category filter is set to “Perfume,” meaning only posts or blogs under the ‘Perfume’ category (or tag) will be selected for auto-publishing. Now you are all set with step 3.

Select Specific Post: When you select any category, all the blogs related to this category appear in this drop-down box. If you would like to upload a certain blog, you can go ahead by selecting it from this box.

Step 4: Go to the Accounts and Template tabs. On the left side, you have to select the account and then search the page or group that you have connected to under this account. Once you select the page, on the right side, a customized post message box will appear, as you can see here.

Also, you can see a list box with lots of elements. You can select whatever you want from this list box. For example, if you select a post link or post title, and post tags, you will be able to see the post with tags, title, and link after publishing it. If you want to publish your post with a feature image, just click on the feature image option.

Now click on the OK button. That’s it. Your WordPress content will automatically publish every hour or day to your LinkedIn page without any interruption. However, after pressing the OK button, you will be redirected to a page automatically where you can see whether the recipe you have made is active or not, and after how many hours the next post will be published automatically. You can even delete the recipe and edit it.

You can do the same thing with all your accounts. This process will automatically be accomplished. There is a fantastic log system, and after successfully publishing posts, you can see a successful statement. An error statement will appear if any post fails to publish successfully.

You can see that the blog post appeared on the LinkedIn page.
