In 2025, Bit Social expanded into new social channels and added advanced features. So starting with new social platforms that joined the family:
TikTok: Your WordPress content can now be posted on TikTok directly from WordPress. The platform where attractive posts get viral in hours.
Bluesky: Bluesky is an excellent Twitter alternative for businesses. It’s been gaining momentum in 2025. We made sure you can auto-post WordPress content with auto-formatted hashtags, images, and rich post links.
LINE: It is a huge platform in Asia. We integrated it by June 2025. Therefore, you can now start Line messaging, share posts with users and groups.
Telegram: Now you can share your WordPress content, messages, images, and clickable links to Telegram groups and channels.
Threads: Since we integrated Instagram, users were also looking for sibling Threads. In mid‐year, they added Threads posting. You can publish single/carousel posts with a topic and the first comment.
Adding new platforms was not the only aim of 2025. Our motive was also to solve the problems of existing channels and give users a smooth experience. Previously, users reported some issues regarding a few social platforms, which we tried to fix in 2025. Here’s what got better:
LinkedIn: We’ve enhanced how special characters display in your posts and improved the token system for smooth publishing. Also, link card thumbnails will now display perfectly every time.
Pinterest: Pinterest sharing just got an update, thanks to your valuable feedback. Your pins will look more perfect. We upgraded to base64 media uploads to ensure images always appear correctly. Plus, titles automatically adapt to fit Pinterest’s limits, no more trimming needed!
Bluesky: For Bluesky posting, we added automatic hashtag detection and formatting. Now links starting with http:// or https:// are recognized and made clickable automatically.
Google Business Profile: The old character limit was limited to 1,000 characters. Now the limit is updated to 1,500 characters.
Instagram: Initially, only single-image posts were allowed. Now you can share carousel posts with a caption and the first comment also.
X (Twitter): Twitter users are always confused about character limits. Like verified accounts have different limits than unverified ones. That’s why we added account verification checks and automatic post length trimming based on your account type. No more surprise cut-offs.

We plan to add more social media platforms in 2026. This way, users can reach wider audiences without changing their existing workflow.
In 2026, for platforms that offer comment-related APIs, support for posting comments alongside published content is planned. This will help create more complete and engaging social posts.
Then we’re planning to assign user roles to give better control over who can manage social accounts, schedules, and automation settings within WordPress.
Post templates will receive upgrades so that users can do better formatting and customize their posts as they want.
Next, we’re heading to add a link shortener feature. This will help keep posts clean, readable, and optimized for social platforms.
AI features are expected to be expanded further, focusing on smarter automation, improved content generation, and reduced manual effort.
