How To Connect Your Instagram Account with Bit Social

👉 There are two options for connecting with Instagram:

• One Click Connect Method
• Custom App Method

One Click Connect Method

By following this method, you can easily authorize your Instagram account to Bit Social. This authorization process simplifies Instagram integration without requiring any complex setup. With this feature, you can efficiently manage and post on your Instagram profile directly from Bit Social, enhancing your online presence with ease.

Please follow the steps below to add your Instagram accounts:

• Navigate to Bit Social Home and go to the Accounts section.
• Click on “Connect Account.”
• Under Instagram, click on the “Connect” button.
• Choose the pages you want Bit Social to access and click continue.
• Choose the Business you want Bit Social to access and click continue.
• Choose the Instagram accounts you want Bit Social to access and click continue.
• Your Instagram profile will be displayed.
• Click on the “Save” button.

Custom App Method

In the Custom App Method, you need to visit Meta Developers and create a new app. After creating your app, you’ll need to configure its settings to integrate it with Bit Social. This method provides more control and customization over the connection between your Instagram account and Bit Social.

Please follow the steps below to create a App in Meta Developer and add your accounts using this App:

First, go to Facebook Developers and click on “My App“. If you haven’t registered as a developer yet, click “Get Started” in the top right corner to sign up.

Create App

• Click on “Create App.”
• Under “Looking for something else,” select “Other” and click “Next.”
• Choose the “Business” app type and click “Next” again.
• Enter a name for your app and click “Create App.”

Add Facebook Login for Business and Instagram as products. To do this, click on the Set Up button for each product.

After clicking the “Set Up” button for “Facebook Login for Business” and “Instagram,” both products will appear on the left side under the Products section.

Configuring App

On the left side, find Facebook Login for Business. Under Facebook Login for Business, configure the Settings.

• Under Facebook Login for Business click on “Settings“.
• Scroll down to find the “Valid OAuth Redirect URIs” section.
• Enter your Redirect URI here and save the changes.
  • To get your Redirect URI visit Bit Social Home and navigate to the “Accounts” section.
  • Under the Instagram, select the “Custom App” button.
  • Your Redirect URI will be displayed.

To connect your Instagram account with Bit Social, you’ll need the App ID and App Secret from your recently created app. Here’s how to retrieve them:

• Go to the Basic App Settings of your app.
• Copy your App ID and App Secret.
• Go to Bit Social Home, navigate to the Accounts section, and click “Connect Account.”
• Under Instagram, click “Custom App,” then paste your App ID and App Secret into the App Key or Client ID and App Secret or Client Secret fields, and click “Add.”
• Under the Connected Apps section, find your app and click Connect.
• Select the Pages you would like your app to access.
• Select the Instagram accounts you want your app to access and click “Continue,”
• Click on the “Save” button.
