Connect With Line

You can easily connect your Line account with Bit Social by visiting the Line Developers portal. Simply create a Provider, then set up a new Channel and enable the Messaging API. Once authorized, this integration allows you to manage and schedule posts directly to your Line group from Bit Social—streamlining your communication and enhancing your social media presence.

First, go to Line Developers and click on “Create Providers.”

Enter a name for your provider and click “Create” to proceed.

Next, you need to create a Messaging API channel. Click on “Create a Messaging API channel,” then on the following page, select “Create a LINE Official Account.”

After clicking on “Create a LINE Official Account,” a new page will open. Here, you need to enter the Account name, Company name, and select the Industry. Once completed, click the Continue button.

After clicking the Continue button, review the information you entered and then click the Submit button.

Now, you will see that your LINE Official Account is ready. Congratulations! Next, click on the “Go to LINE Official Account Manager” button.

After clicking the “Go to LINE Official Account Manager” button, a new page will open. On this page, click on “Chats.” You will then see a prompt saying “Chats are disabled.” Click on “Go to Response Settings.“

Now, in the Response Settings, enable Chats.

We also need to enable Webhooks. Follow these steps:

1. Go to the Messaging API section and click on Enable Messaging API.
2. You will be prompted to choose a provider — in this case, select Bit Social and click Agree.
3. Enter the URLs for your provider’s Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions, then click OK.
4. Next, enter your Webhook URL and click Save.
5. After saving, return to the Response Settings and enable Webhooks.

Now, go back to the first tab, which is LINE Developers. Then, click on your provider name, and you will see your channel listed there. Click on the channel to open it.

In your channel, go to the Messaging API section. Under Webhook settings, click on Verify.

Now, under LINE Official Account Features, enable Allow bot to join group chats. To do this, click Edit, a new page will open. Scroll down and turn on Group and multi-person chats.

Now, open the LINE app on your phone, scan the QR code, tap Add, and then send a message.

After that, create a new group or add your channel to an existing one, then send a message.

After creating a group or adding the channel to an existing group and sending a message, check the webhook. You will receive various pieces of information, including the group ID.

Copy the Group ID, then navigate to the Bit Social Account section and click on Connect Account. Under the LINE, click Login, and paste the Group ID into the Group ID field.

Now, we need to generate a token in the LINE Developers Console:

• Go to the LINE Developers Console.
• Click on your provider.
• Select your channel name.
• Navigate to the Messaging API section.
• Scroll down to the bottom of the page where you’ll find the Channel Access Token section.
• Click Issue to generate a new token.
• Once the token is generated, copy it and paste it into the Token field in Bit Social.

After generating and pasting the token, click on Connect LINE. Your group will appear in the list.
Next, click the Save button.

Congratulations! You have successfully connected with LINE.
