How To Connect Your Pinterest Account with Bit Social

👉 There are two ways to connect with Pinterest:

1. One Click Connect Method
2. Custom App Method

One Click Connect Method

By following this method, you can easily authorize your Pinterest account to Bit Social. This simple authorization process allows for quick Pinterest integration without any complicated setup. With this feature, you can efficiently manage and post on your Pinterest boards directly from Bit Social, making social media management smoother and helping boost your online presence with minimal effort.

Please follow the steps below to add your Pinterest accounts:

• Navigate to Bit Social Home and go to the Accounts section.
• Click on “Connect Account.”
• Under Pinterest, click on the “Connect” button.
• Now, click on “Give access“
• Your boards will be displayed.
• Click on the “Save” button for the boards you wish to connect.

Custom App Method

For the Custom App Method with Pinterest, start by visiting the Pinterest Developer site. You’ll need a Pinterest business account to create an app and establish a connection with Pinterest.

Please follow the steps below to create a Pinterest App and add your accounts using this App:

Visit the Pinterest Developers page and either create a new Business Pinterest Account or log in to an existing one. If you already have a personal account, you can link it to create a Business account.

After signing up, you should receive an email to confirm your account. If you don’t see it in your inbox, you can go to the Pinterest Developers page to ask them to send it again.

After verifying your account, agree to the Terms and Conditions.

Now, click on Connect App to create an app.

Next, enter your app details and complete the captcha. Then, click the “Submit” button. Pinterest developers will review your app and approve it if everything is correct.

Once your app is approved, go to the app settings and add your Authorized Redirect URL.

To get your Authorized redirect URL, follow these steps:

• Navigate to Bit Social Home and go to the Accounts section.
• Click on “Connect Account.”
• Under Pinterest, click on the “Custom App” button.
• Your Redirect URI will be displayed.
• Copy your Authorized Redirect URL and go to your app. Click on “Manage.”
• Paste the Authorized Redirect URL into the Redirect Link field.

Please follow the steps below to add your Pinterest accounts:

1. When your app gets approved, copy the new App ID and App Secret.
2. Paste these into the App Key or Client ID and App Secret or Client Secret fields in Bit Social to connect with Pinterest using the Custom App Method.
3. Click on the “Add” button.
4. Under Connected Apps, click on “Connect.”
5. Now, click on “Give access“
6. Your boards will be displayed.
7. Click on the “Save” button for the account you want to connect.
