Coming Soon…

Our app is currently under review for approval. Once it’s approved, the One-Click Connect option will be available.

In the meantime, if anyone wants to test TikTok integration, you can use the Custom App Method. Please note that due to Tiktoks sandbox limitations, post made through custom app will be visible only on private tiktok accounts and also privacy settings should be set to Self only in templates privacy settings and privacy settings in share now feature .

Custom App Method

In the Custom App Method, you’ll need to visit the TikTok Developers and create a new developer account—or log in if you already have one. From there, you’ll create and configure a new app. This method gives you greater control and flexibility over how your TikTok account connects with Bit Social.

Please follow the steps below to create a App in Tiktok Developer and add your accounts using this App:

First, go to TikTok Developers and click on “Developer Portal then click on Manage apps.

Next, you’ll need to create an app. Click on “Connect an App” to get started.

Now, choose the App Owner, enter a name for your app, and then click the Confirm button to proceed.

Congratulations! You have successfully created an app on TikTok Developers.

You will see two options: Production and Sandbox next to your app name.

  • Production: Use this option when you’re ready to connect and share content in real-time. Please note that Production apps need to be verified, which may take a few days.
  • Sandbox: For demonstration purposes, we will use the Sandbox option. It works the same way as the Production app but doesn’t require verification, making it quicker to set up and test.

Choose Sandbox for testing and Production when you’re ready for live use.

Under Basic Information, upload an app icon, choose a category, and enter a description for your app. You’ll also need to provide the URLs for your Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. After that, select Web as the platform and enter your Web/Desktop URL.

When creating an app using the Production method, you’ll see an App Review section. Here, you must explain how each selected product and scope is used within your app or website. If you’re submitting a revision, be sure to include details about the changes made in the current version. You’ll also need to create and upload at least one demo video that clearly demonstrates the complete end-to-end flow of the integration.

Next, you need to add products to your app. Click on “Add Products”, then select Login Kit, Share Kit, and Content Posting API. Once selected, click Done to proceed.

After adding the products, you’ll see a section under Login Kit where you need to enter your Redirect URI. Make sure to select Web as the platform before entering the URI.

To get your Authorized redirect URI, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Bit Social Home page and navigate to the Accounts section.
  2. Click on “Connect Account.”
  3. Under TikTok, click the “Custom App” button.
  4. Your Redirect URI will be displayed there.

After entering the Redirect URI, go to the Content Posting API section and enable the Direct Post option.

Now, you need to add scopes to define the permissions your app will have. For this demonstration, we’ll add all available scopes. This is one of the advantages of using the Custom App method—you have full control over the permissions. And if you ever no longer need the app, you can simply delete it.

For the Production setup, once you’ve completed all the required steps, click on Submit for Review. The TikTok Developers team will then review your app and approve it if everything meets their guidelines.

If you’re creating the app in Sandbox mode, the next step is to add target users. Under the Sandbox Settings, you’ll find the Target Users section—click on “Add Account.” A pop-up window will appear, where you’ll need to log in to your TikTok account to complete the process.

After completing all the necessary steps, click on Apply Changes to save and update your app settings.

After successfully configuring your app, go to the App Details section and copy both the Client Key and Client Secret.

  • Paste these into the App Key/Client ID and App Secret/Client Secret fields in Bit Social.
  • Click the “Add” button.
  • Under Connected Apps, click “Connect.”
  • Your TikTok profile will be displayed.
  • Click “Save” to complete the connection.
